My name is Chloë Epstein and I am a visual artist who specializes in painting, illustration, and printmaking. I have been creating artwork my whole life, but became serious after finding a passion for comic books and cartoons. I felt drawn towards visual storytelling and wished to create my own stories. I received a degree in fine arts through Bryn Mawr and Haverford's bi-co system, while also studying art history and creative writing. After graduating, I began working freelance with various companies and clients.  During that time, I was also working as the head teaching assistant and monitor at Haverford’s printmaking studio under Professor Hee Sook Kim. After transitioning as a full-time artist, I started volunteering at the Philadelphia Sketch Club as a printmaking teacher. I run classes every Saturday, and teach Intaglio, such as dry point and etching. Currently, I am focusing on my own personal projects, which includes running an Etsy store, submitting to exhibitions, and creating more pieces to add to my portfolio . My main project right now is writing and illustrating a children's story titled "Kitty Makes a Friend".

11 x 14, water color & ink, on paper, 2023, framed, 2023. Woman Owned, Philly artist.
